One of the most powerful features of readyAsset is the way you can manage the assets, because its simplicity, this feature it’s very fast and to the point. You are provided with a basic panel that shows a list of assets where you pick the categories of equipments you want to manage. The categories can be Equipment, Cars and Building just to mention the most important ones. What makes this list powerful is that in one step you can find out the group of assets that need maintenance or the most important ones for the business, this way you won’t never forget again a critical asset in the company. The filters are:
- Filtered View
- Due Maintenance
- Almost Due Maintenance
- Most Important Assets
Filtered View: shows the results of a custom search based on selected values of an asset’s fields.
Due Maintenance: list all the assets that already need maintenance, this filter is the most important of readyAsset.
Almost Due Maintenance: shows equipment that are close to the maintenance according to the value set by the user, this means that you will know in advance what job is going to be done in the next week or month for the list of assets.
Most important assets: this view will help you with the cars, vehicles or equipment that are very critical
for your company, this way you have the status of them in a custom view.
Every Time you select in the list an asset or equipment, you get a right panel in the screen that shows related and important data for management, this data is composed by the maintenance list, work order history, costs and custom reports. Every area is for helping you in deep analysis, for example, using this panel you can realize when it’s time to replace a car after you know all the related costs to the car’s maintenance, the same way you have valuable info about past providers that served specific maintenance jobs for the asset.
For reporting you can create custom views of the asset list in a very simple way: you select the columns that you want in the assets view by doing right click and selecting Show-Hide Columns on the contextual menu. Then filter the list with your own criteria by selecting in the menu: Asset->Find Asset. After you do the search, you can save this filter by using the report tab on the right panel. In the report tab you will see a list of predefined reports for you to use.
