The work order is a valuable
document for future reference, and for various environments that requires you
to get information about the equipment, it can be a car, a truck or any
facility inside the company. Being said
that; let’s talk about the fields of information of a work order document:
Inside readyAsset, you have very
rich information, information that is on your side in critical decisions such
as end of month reports and costs related reports. The fields you will find
are:
Request page: this page is oriented to the person or department
that requests a job to be done on specific equipment; the data that you find is
Asset code, description, and the task to be done. When you view a closed work
order you use this information to compare it with the already job done.
Approval page: Here you set date of execution for the work order,
based on the workload of the company, this mean that you need to coordinate and
evaluate the available time and personnel in the company.
Execution page: This page is
used and filled by the people who executed the maintenance or requested task.
In this area you add images, details about the task being done, the final notes
and current status of the work order. In this phase the work order can be in
status such as: in execution, execution stopped or executed.
Closing page: When the job
is done, you need to close the work order document by writing down the related
costs and evaluating the job done: Very
Good, Good, Acceptable, Regular or Bad. Also you write personal notes by
consulting the requested job and the job done. Also you can read the tools and
materials used in the job.
Besides all the described pages and fields the work order
document is designed to help you just when you need it, for example: if the equipment
included in the requested task owns an active warranty document registered
inside readyAsset, you will be notified about this in order to avoid requesting
a work that should be covered by the warranty.
